WF vs AA Pitch Report
Conditions in Auckland are expected to be very good for cricket. The dimensions of the earth are very small so the paths are always available. However, over the past few seasons, Eden Park has gained a reputation for delivering some quick and bouncy wickets. This allows bowling players to express their opinions as well and achieve some parity in the competition.

WF vs AA Match & Dream 11 Prediction and Analysis – Jan 02, 2022
The dates at the 2021-22 Ford Trophy can be a little crazy and that’s why the Wellington Firebirds will be their fourth game while the Auckland Aces play for the second time.
WF vs AA Team Previews
Team Wellington Firebirds
Wellington Firebirds owe much of their 2021-22 Ford Trophy success to beating Troy Johnson. Fifty-three results have been achieved with an average of more than 81 and a strike rate of just under 100. These are huge numbers. He is well supported by Smith, Jorgeson, Blundell and Allen. This is a strong batting lineup.
Of course, the real winner of this squad is Finn Allen, but he enjoyed a fairly average domestic season by his high standards.
Braswell, Yanghasband and Bennet are the three most successful bowling players for the Wellington Firebirds in the Ford Cup this season. We love the bowling unit but it lacks one player who can run across a side on his day.
Team Auckland Assis
The workers and Chapman reached centuries in the only game they have played so far and basically made sure no one else had to do much work. The Auckland Aces boast a strong line-up of strikes that will also include Martin Guptill and Glenn Phillips. Having two experienced international batsmen to lead the batting should be seen as a big advantage.
Of course, Guptill was struggling to run, so don’t overestimate the impact he might have in this game. However, it’s as if the thieves have a stronger strike line-up.
The bowling attack for auckland’s bowlers seems a little weak. The Ferns picked up three small points in the previous game but there’s not much depth there. Aces will have to rely heavily on part-time workers like Phillips and Chapman to contribute to the bowling department and this is never a good sign.
